The Transformation of Joebee
Description
For years, Joebee consistently played tricks on Will and Martha, but just when the couple really tired of his jokes, Joebee changed his ways. Shortly after his transformation, Joebee starts advising Martha on negotiations with Surania, royalty who wants to pay thousands of dollars for a plate Martha bought at a flea market. Suspecting that this is another one of Joebee’s stunts, Will promises that, if so, it will be his last—literally.
A lifelong prankster claims he's done playing jokes and wants to come clean about his final trick. But when someone who loves fooling people says they've changed, can you really believe them, or is this just their greatest con yet?
Confessing to a last prank is seems to be too good to be true, when a perennial joker announces he has mended his ways. Could this be true or is it perhaps the biggest hoax of the century?
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
