The Wound That Would Not Heal

Description

Mark Foresight is trying to pull his marriage together, at least what there is left of it. His first step is to end his affair with Lorene Jessup. However, the day after they split, Lorene is found murdered. Mark had no reason to do it, but the constant sound of Lorene’s voice, begging him to save her, has him believing that he is the only possible killer.

After being charged with the murder of his mistress, a man adamantly denies his guilt. However, when the ghost of his dead lover begins to haunt his dreams, he becomes disoriented and begins to believe that the accusation must be true.

A man faces murder charges for killing his secret girlfriend and swears he didn't do it. But when his dead lover's spirit starts visiting him in his sleep, he gets confused and starts thinking maybe he really did commit the crime.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
