Description
Ross Richard, owner of an island in the Caribbean, arranges with a doctor for his wife, Felicia, dying from a melanomic tumor, to be put in radical hypothermia and revived some time in the future when a cure for her condition has been perfected. He would like the doctor to do the same for him so he can continue his happy marriage. But legal problems arise, not helped by the Richards' housekeeper who knows too much about the family's corrupt past.
A rich man wants to freeze his sick wife until doctors can cure her deadly cancer. When he tries to freeze himself too so they can be together, a dead family member's spirit takes over his body and ruins his plan.
In order to save his dying wife from terminal cancer, a wealthy eccentric gives orders to have her cryogenically frozen until a cure is found. His plans to accompany her in deep freeze is disrupted when the ghost of a deceased relative takes possession of his body.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
