Tomorrow, Cloudy and Cold
Description
A researcher runs tests on a homeless young man to give him the power to change weather through his feelings. After the test subject breaks free, the researcher has to track him down before he causes destruction.
A scientist conducts experiments on a young drifter to allow him to be able to control the weather with his emotions. When his young subject escapes, the scientist must find his subject before he creates havoc.
After several months of hypnosis and the ingestion of various herbs, 22-year-old Rick Slander is made capable by Dr. Herman Bruna of affecting weather changes by his changing moods. When Rick is happy, it’s warm and sunny; when he is unhappy, it’s cold and rainy. Because he’s been made a virtual prisoner, Rick becomes sulky and, when he ultimately escapes, Dr. Bruno correctly predicts that wherever Rick goes storms and floods are bound to occur—with disastrous results.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
