Description
Lillian Bryant, since the death of her husband, has become the hard-driving, ruthless head of his publishing house. She has alienated her son and daughter and the one man who really loved her. When she suffers a massive stroke, Lucifer and the Archangel Michael appear at the hospital, both wanting to claim her soul. It becomes a toss-up as the many good things she has done may possibly offset the many aspects of her life people have considered evil.
When the devil and the top angel Michael fight over who gets to take a tough businesswoman's soul, they tell the story of her life.
The story of the life of a ruthless business woman is recounted when Lucifer and the Arch-angel Michael argue over who gets to claim her soul.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
