Description
A middle class couple learns that they have somehow obtained an ability that allows them to manifest whatever they desire. Their seemingly perfect life takes a turn for the worse when they start abusing their gift.
Maurice and Ursula live the middle-class existence of a small-town college professor and his wife. Ursula wishes for wealth, and Maurice sincerely wishes he could provide her with it. Suddenly, as if from a fairy tale, their wishes are granted.
A husband and wife from an ordinary neighborhood discover they can make anything they want appear out of thin air. What starts as a dream come true becomes their worst nightmare when they begin using their power in terrible ways.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
