Anne Sheridan takes charge of the show, singing "As Time Goes By" for the soldiers. Paul Whiteman directs his band, while Bonnie Baker sings "Talk, Whistle and Sigh" for Private Saul Bermudez. José Iturbi brings laughs with his funny piano performance, and Gracie Allen creates comedy by getting classical music all wrong. The Hollywood Victory Committee puts on this show to honor the men and women serving in America's military.
