Description
Host Ken Carpenter presents a variety show for U.S. troops. The Andrews Sisters sing "Pistol Packin' Mama" and "Deep Down in the Valley." Roy Rogers, with Riders of the Purple Sage, performs Western songs including a yodel. Bob Hope's comedy features Western jokes with Cottonseed Clark. Carol Landis and Bob Hope mix cowboy culture with humor. The show is dedicated to entertaining servicemen and women.
