Description
Reporter J.B. Kendall comes to Fort Benton, Montana Territory, where George McCune faces charges for Jack Furlong's death. The court case shows how the town picks sides and holds grudges, while Kendall fights for McCune against an unfair system. After witnesses tell different stories that don't add up, McCune goes free, showing everyone how broken the town's justice really is and making them think differently.
