Christmas In January
Description
Detective George Valentine and Miss Brooks investigate a twisted case of deception and hidden truths when a strange newspaper writer goes missing and his assistant turns up dead, dressed as Santa Claus after pretending to be his boss to steal expensive Christmas presents.
"Let George do it" is an English idiom of the 20th century, recommending that some (unspecified) person rather than oneself should perform a given task. An occasional comic variant is to let "Jack" - the supposed brother of George - do it instead.
