A Short History Of Bac Ha

Description

In a small Vietnamese village, a buffalo's death at the hands of American soldiers ignites a clash of cultures. Private Eckstein, assigned to investigate, resolves to bridge the gap by emphasizing understanding and empathy, rather than force, in settling the dispute.

When American troops kill a water buffalo in a tiny Vietnamese town, it sparks a bitter fight between two different worlds. Soldier Eckstein gets the job to look into what happened, and he decides to fix the problem by helping both sides understand each other instead of using violence.
