Description
In a quiet suburban town, George Havery's long-suffering patience is tested to the breaking point by his wife Bella, who insists on presiding over a household she has made increasingly intolerable. His affair with Susan, a spirited young woman, breeds a desperate desire for freedom that leads him to murder.
George Havery lives in a peaceful small town where his wife Bella makes their home life unbearable with her controlling ways. After years of putting up with her behavior, George reaches his limit. When he starts seeing Susan, a lively young woman, his need to escape his marriage becomes so strong that he decides to kill his wife.
Sears Radio Theater was a radio drama anthology series which ran weeknights on CBS Radio in 1979, sponsored by the Sears chain. Often paired with The CBS Radio Mystery Theater during its first season, the program offered a different genre of drama for each evening's broadcast.
