Description
A Texan arrives in Pleasant Valley to bring the man who killed his brother to justice. The rest of the town wants to lynch the killer. The writing is highly stylized.

In a narrative work, suspense is the audience's excited anticipation about the plot or conflict, particularly as it affects a character for whom the audience feels sympathy. However, suspense is not exclusive to narratives.
