The Greatest Thief in the World

Based on real Scotland Yard records, this true story asks if Peter Marriott is actually "The Squire," a famous jewel thief. The tale was later made into a "Suspense" radio show that aired on July 26, 1955.

In a narrative work, suspense is the audience's excited anticipation about the plot or conflict, particularly as it affects a character for whom the audience feels sympathy. However, suspense is not exclusive to narratives.
