The Green Hills Of Earth

Description

A brave blind singer travels through space on a ship called the Old Falcon, entertaining the crew with his music. When danger threatens the spacecraft, the sightless musician risks his life to help save everyone aboard. Though he dies in the attempt, he manages to finish performing his final song about Earth's green hills before passing away.

The story of Reisling, the blind folksinger of the spaceways! Great radio.

John W. Campbell's famous story about the blind minstrel of space whose courage saves a spaceship and its crew. The Old Falcon's corridors echo with Riesling's songs. But as an emergency arises, the blind troubadour courageously attempts to save the ship himself. He dies, but not until he has completed his last song, "The Green Hills of Earth."
