Description

Bold researchers investigate the puzzling murder of a dig expert and find a hidden lab where a crazy scientist controls people's thoughts.

No one seems to know—or care—why space scientist Carl von Linden died, according to the coroner, of “natural causes.” But an old friend of von Linden’s, government agent Charles Carey, defies his superiors, starting an investigation of his own. He soon learns that scientists in both Russia and France also died recently with no official explanation readily available.

Adventurous scientists probe the mysterious death of an archaeologist and discover a secret laboratory where a mad doctor manipulates human minds.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
