Dead Wrong

Debutante ghost Elmer Potts is ordered to summon the spirit of Peter B. Pell of 25 Sperling Drive and to accompany him in his departure. But, en route to Mr. Pell’s house, Potts mislays the invoice and ends up at Peter P. Bell’s home at 25 Sterling Street. Despite Bell’s resistance, Potts claims his soul. However, on the way to heaven, Potts finds the invoice and, realizing his blunder, knows that he must either convince the unwilling Bell to play dead or convince the unassuming Pell that he is better off dead.

Peter P. Bell gets confused when he dies and ends up in a strange afterlife by mistake. He loves his wife Marge back on earth. His arrival messes up how things normally work in this weird place. Then a clumsy messenger and another man with a similar name make everything more complicated. When the two men argue, it shows they are both scared of what they don't understand.

In a surreal and whimsical afterlife, Peter P. Bell finds himself bewildered by a clerical mistake. He is married to Marge, whom he treasures. His arrival in the afterlife disrupts their routine until a bumbling emissary and a similarly named newcomer complicate matters. A heated exchange shows both men's fears of the unknown.
