Death By Whose Hands

Description

A passionate interest in music leads Doctor Herschl to graft the hands of virtuoso pianist Rudi Baum, killed in an accident, to less accomplished pianist Franz Langeman, whose hands were badly mangled in the same accident. Though the devastating repercussions soon became apparent to Langeman, his wife Ilse drives him to continue with his career, sealing his fate and hers. You have to give the guy a hand for being as daring as he was.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
