Description

Planning a rare trip to the track, Harry Margolies is so engrossed in conversation with a close friend that he runs a red light and knocks down a pedestrian, who turns out to be a pretty young woman. Harry wonders if this is the golden opportunity to put some excitement back into his life, especially when the girl gives him her phone number. But his all-knowing friend reminds him of a complication: his wife, Isabel.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
