Sleepwalker

Description

Olivia Worster, 35, under treatment for somnambulism and confidentially expressing to her doctor a desire to kill her 70-year-old husband because of his “superior attitude” towards her, loosens the brakes of her husband’s sports car one night while sleepwalking. She, though, is the next driver of the car and is almost killed when its brakes fail on a steep hill. Her doctor is unable to come up with a quick cure for her somnambulism, and soon, again while sleepwalking, she makes another attempt on her husband’s life.

A 35-year-old woman undergoing treatment for sleepwalking confides in her doctor about wanting to harm her elderly husband. She loosens the brakes of her husband's sports car one night while sleepwalking, but becomes the next driver to use it, nearly killing herself when the brakes fail. She continues attempting to harm him while in this unconscious state.

A wife who wants to put her suffering husband out of his misery begins planning his death while she sleeps.

Desperate to end her husband's miserable life, a woman starts to plot his demise in her slumber.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
