Somewhere Else
Description
A woman's dreams run parallel to her fantasies and she tells her psychologist of her visions of herself as a Viking maiden promised to wed a potbellied farmer- and the Nordic warrior in pursuit to rescue her.
In Edith Nelson’s increasingly vivid dream life, Theriff, a fiery Viking, wants to take her away to adventures unknown. Edith’s psychiatrist, Dr. Miller, assumes the disturbing dreams stem from her anxiety about impending marriage to solid, if dull, Harold. But the strange dreams soon intrude on Edith’s daily life, and she must choose from two compelling realities: Theriff or Harold.
A woman shares with her therapist about recurring dreams where she sees herself as a Viking girl who must marry a fat farmer, while a brave Norse warrior chases after them to save her.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
