Description

A CEO gets stuck at a distant airport during a blizzard and meets a woman without knowing she's married to one of his workers. He falls in love with her. Hoping the husband will die, the CEO gives him a deadly job.

After unwittingly spending time with the wife of one of his employees when he is stranded in a remote airport due to a snowstorm, he falls for her. Praying for his death, the CEO sends her husband on a dangerous assignment.

D. J. Prior, chairman of multinational D. J. Prior Industries, is forced because of bad weather to land his company plane in Central City, Illinois home of one of his subsidiaries. It is run by Ernest Oliver, whom he has never met. Invited to dinner by the Olivers, Prior is taken by Ernest’s wife, Beatrice. Bored with life in Central City, she is intrigued by Prior’s offer to take her away from it all. But she is not so intrigued with his plans for her husband—an accidental death in the jungles of Brazil.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
