Strike Force

Dr. Orville Sanderson Jr. was brought up by his step-father Bob Watson. His mother, Andrea, was married to Bob after Orville's father went missing during the war. When a man possibly having know Orville Sr. turns up in the morgue, Orville Jr. begins to question everything he believes about his real father.

When a dead man who might have known his missing father arrives at the morgue, Dr. Orville Sanderson Jr. starts to doubt everything his step-father Bob Watson and mother Andrea told him about what really happened to Orville Sr. during the war.

When Dr. Orville Sanderson examines a new corpse, he sees tattooed on its arm the emblem of the regiment in which his father, supposedly dead for 31 years, served. Eventually he determines that the corpse is his father. But when he confronts his mother and stepfather with this fact, the doctor becomes convinced that his family is like that in The Illiad—comprised of a warrior, his unfaithful wife, her lover, and a revengeful son.
