The Deadly Process

Description

George Loomis, deeply in debt and about to lose his executive job, turns to Walter Stallings, who always helped him when they were in college. But instead of living up to an agreement to share with Walter, George steals his old friend’s valuable industrial process, which will earn him a large bonus and save his job. Walter’s reaction to this is expected, but George’s reaction to Walter’s reaction is not.

In order to save his job and further his career, an unskilled engineer pilfers the secret to a revolutionary process from an old friend. Now he must lie, cheat and bribe his way through life in a desperate bid to keep his new-found status.

To keep his job and get ahead at work, a bad engineer steals the secret to an amazing new invention from an old buddy. Now he has to lie, trick people, and pay bribes to protect his stolen success.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
