The Equalizer
Description
Don Henley’s cool professionalism as a gun-for-hire is legendary. The beleaguered People’s Revolutionary Army is happy to pay the steep price for his services to train their rag-tag troops. They provide him with a cover—as a major league baseball scout—and a contact to meet at the airport, Colonel Ramirez—Rosita Ramirez, that is.
Deception and treachery abound in a third world country and a hired mercenary must deal with the nation's idiosyncrasies as he trains them for war.
A soldier for hire faces lies and betrayal while teaching fighters how to battle in a poor country full of strange customs and problems.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
