The Master Computer
Description
In a fully automated world, a couple come home from vacation to find that their existence has been wiped clean from society's records. The culprit that disrupted their lives is later revealed to be a computer glitch.
After returning from their trip, a man and woman discover that all traces of their lives have been erased from every official database in their high-tech society. They later learn that a computer error was responsible for destroying their identities.
Returning from a Maine vacation, Grace and Harry Clayton find their lives entirely disrupted. They discover that they have apparently become invisible to neighbors, co-workers and everyone else. Grace wonders if they are dead, but Harry disagrees since all else around them is normal. Finally, someone appears who can both see and hear them and tells the Claytons of an incredible computer malfunction.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
