Description

Tonight's show host Kay Francis welcomes the stars who will perform: Sassy Sally Mason, Frances Langford, Judy Garland, Bob Hope, W.C. Fields, and Danny Kaye. They all take part in a funny act about a soldier's daily life. The show ends with Christmas songs performed by Frances Langford, Judy Garland, and other singers.

Command Performance was a radio program which originally aired between 1942 and 1949. The program was broadcast on the Armed Forces Radio Network (AFRS) and transmitted by shortwave to overseas troops — but with few exceptions, it was not broadcast over domestic U.S. radio stations.
