Description

Kenneth Morrow, a teenage boy, dies in a car crash after smoking marijuana. Friday and his police team go after "The Big Tomato." The men who run "Motion Picture Daily" and "Fame" magazine pick Jack Webb as "the most promising star of tomorrow" and call Dragnet "the best radio program of its type" for 1950.

Dragnet is an American radio series, enacting the cases of a dedicated Los Angeles police detective, Sergeant Joe Friday, and his partners. The show took its name from the police term "dragnet", meaning a system of coordinated measures for apprehending criminals or suspects.
