Lee Quince and the troop must find Sitting Bull, somewhere in the Black Hills.

Army Captain Lee Quince receives commands to locate Sitting Bull across the huge Montana Territory and ask him to come to peace talks. Leading only a small group of soldiers, Lee must cross dangerous land while hearing stories about a white man who guides the Sioux warriors. Even with these troubles, he keeps moving forward because he knows this meeting could stop another war from starting.

Captain Lee Quince gets orders to find Sitting Bull in the vast Montana Territory to invite him to a parley. With just a patrol, Lee faces rough terrain and rumors of a white man leading the Sioux. Despite challenges, he pushes on, knowing the meeting might prevent another war.

Fort Laramie is a CBS Radio Western series starring Raymond Burr as Captain Lee Quince. It aired Sunday afternoons January 22–October 28, 1956, at 5:30 pm ET. Produced and directed by Norman Macdonnell, this Western drama depicted life at old Fort Laramie during the 19th Century. The 41 episodes starred Raymond Burr as Lee Quince, captain of the cavalry. One year later, Burr became a television star as Perry Mason.
