Description

Captain Lee Quince takes his soldiers on a hunt for Native Americans, but an old friend named Patchen comes along with the group. The soldiers start asking questions about why Patchen gets special treatment and doesn't have to stand guard. Quince remembers bad times with Patchen from before, so he chooses to move him to another unit to keep his men happy, but he won't tell anyone why.

A trooper from out of Captain Quince's past named Patchen, joins the troop and creates problems. The program was recorded June 21, 1956. The script is reported to have been written by Les Crutchfield.

Captain Lee Quince leads his men on a mission to track Native Americans, but an old acquaintance named Patchen joins the troop. Quince, remembering a troubled past with Patchen, decides to transfer him for the good of morale, keeping the details to himself.

Fort Laramie is a CBS Radio Western series starring Raymond Burr as Captain Lee Quince. It aired Sunday afternoons January 22–October 28, 1956, at 5:30 pm ET. Produced and directed by Norman Macdonnell, this Western drama depicted life at old Fort Laramie during the 19th Century. The 41 episodes starred Raymond Burr as Lee Quince, captain of the cavalry. One year later, Burr became a television star as Perry Mason.
