Description

Fort Laramie's Captain Lee Quince must make a hard choice after Will Granby, who lives with the Indians, tells him that hungry Arapaho warriors plan to attack a wagon train for supplies. Quince hopes to work things out with words, but his commanders ordered him to protect the settlers and push the Arapaho back to their reservation. The situation gets more dangerous as Quince tries to stop a deadly fight.

Captain Lee Quince of Fort Laramie faces a tough call when Will Granby, a squaw man, warns of starving Arapaho planning to raid a wagon train for food. Quince wants to talk, but his orders are to escort the train and force the Arapaho back to their agency. Tensions rise as Quince hopes to prevent bloodshed.

Will Granby, a squaw man, reports that the Arapaho are off the reservation, seeking buffalo or food of any kind.

Fort Laramie is a CBS Radio Western series starring Raymond Burr as Captain Lee Quince. It aired Sunday afternoons January 22–October 28, 1956, at 5:30 pm ET. Produced and directed by Norman Macdonnell, this Western drama depicted life at old Fort Laramie during the 19th Century. The 41 episodes starred Raymond Burr as Lee Quince, captain of the cavalry. One year later, Burr became a television star as Perry Mason.
