The Buffalo Hunters

Description

Captain Lee Quince discovers slaughtered buffalo on tribal territory, and Native Americans didn't kill them. Buffalo hunters have returned, taking only the finest meat and leaving the rest to rot. If the soldiers can't stop these hunters, war with the tribes threatens. Quince realizes they must move quickly to catch the hunters before disaster strikes.

Captain Quince is trailing those who are slaughtering buffalo on Indian land. An excellent story.

Captain Lee Quince finds butchered buffalo on reservation land, and it ain't the work of Indians. The buffalo hunters are back, only taking the best meat and wasting the rest. If the cavalry can't stop them, a war with the tribes looms. Quince knows they must act fast to catch the hunters before it's too late.

Fort Laramie is a CBS Radio Western series starring Raymond Burr as Captain Lee Quince. It aired Sunday afternoons January 22–October 28, 1956, at 5:30 pm ET. Produced and directed by Norman Macdonnell, this Western drama depicted life at old Fort Laramie during the 19th Century. The 41 episodes starred Raymond Burr as Lee Quince, captain of the cavalry. One year later, Burr became a television star as Perry Mason.
