Description

Captain Lee Quince returns to Fort Laramie to find his old friend, Lieutenant Robbie Wendt, now deemed a coward after a past battle. Wendt struggles with his tarnished reputation and alcohol, but Quince offers support. Despite efforts, Wendt's past haunts him, challenging their friendship and his place in the army.

When Captain Lee Quince gets back to Fort Laramie, he discovers that his old buddy Lieutenant Robbie Wendt has been branded a coward because of what happened in an earlier fight. Wendt battles his damaged reputation and drinking problem, though Quince tries to help him. Even with Quince's support, Wendt can't escape what he did before, putting strain on their friendship and threatening his military career.

Lieutenant Wendt has been stationed at Fort Laramie, after unjustly being accused of cowardice.

Fort Laramie is a CBS Radio Western series starring Raymond Burr as Captain Lee Quince. It aired Sunday afternoons January 22–October 28, 1956, at 5:30 pm ET. Produced and directed by Norman Macdonnell, this Western drama depicted life at old Fort Laramie during the 19th Century. The 41 episodes starred Raymond Burr as Lee Quince, captain of the cavalry. One year later, Burr became a television star as Perry Mason.
