Description

Captain Lee Quince eats dinner with the Daggett family, and the Major suggests that young Lieutenant Sybert is scared of him. Later, Quince thinks about their conversation and watches men train horses. He figures out that knowing about fear is the most important thing. Quince chooses to help Sybert deal with what scares him, wanting the young officer to become braver.

Captain Lee Quince joins a dinner with the Daggetts, where the Major hints at young Lieutenant Sybert's fear of him. Quince reflects on their talk and later, while observing horse training, realizes that understanding fear is key. He decides to help Sybert face his fears, hoping the young officer will grow more confident.

Captain Quince has an unusual way to give Lieutenant Seiberts the confidence he needs to be a good officer. The program was recorded May 31, 1956.

Produced and directed by Norman Macdonnell, this Western drama depicted life at old Fort Laramie during the 19th Century. The 41 episodes starred Raymond Burr as Lee Quince, captain of the cavalry. One year later, Burr became a television star as Perry Mason.
