A newspaper writer named J.B. Kendall comes to the frontier town of South Sunday, Montana to write about life there, making Sheriff Clanton nervous. Kendall discovers that Deputy Farley used to be a criminal and learns about the brothers' troubled past with the outlaw Billy the Kid. A woman named Lila helps Kendall reveal these hidden truths, which leads to a dangerous face-off and forces everyone to face right and wrong. When Kendall finally leaves town, peace returns but nothing is quite the same.

Frontier Gentleman is an American radio Western series originally broadcast on the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) radio network from February 2 to November 16, 1958, initially heard Sunday afternoons at 2:30 p.m. through March when it moved to 7 p.m.
