Description

This saga of a Wyoming mining town, where adults are eager to learn, pits the community against a rival settlement over the fate of a beloved schoolteacher. The election to determine her future nearly leads to violence and bloodshed until a correspondent for the London Times finds a solution that unites the two towns.

In a Wyoming mining town where grown-ups want to get an education, the people fight with a nearby town over their favorite teacher. When they hold a vote to decide what happens to her, things almost turn deadly until a newspaper writer from London finds a way to bring both towns together.
