Description
In 1860s Fort Benton, J.B. Kendall, a London Times reporter, invests in a prospector's claim of a lost gold vein. Amid doubts and dangers in the High Woods Mountains, the prospector falls ill, leaving Kendall with a single gold nugget. Confronted by local thugs, Kendall defends himself and returns to town, wiser to the harsh truths of frontier life.
A London Times reporter named J.B. Kendall puts his money into a gold hunter's story about a missing treasure vein in 1860s Fort Benton. When the gold hunter gets sick in the dangerous High Woods Mountains, Kendall ends up with just one gold chunk. Bad men from town try to hurt him, but Kendall fights back and makes it home, now understanding how tough life really is on the frontier.
Frontier Gentleman is an American radio Western series originally broadcast on the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) radio network from February 2 to November 16, 1958, initially heard Sunday afternoons at 2:30 p.m. through March when it moved to 7 p.m.
