Dolores Dominguez goes to see her Aunt Lola in East Los Angeles, where Lola owns a shop that sells healing plants and magic items. Even though Dolores wants a regular modern life, she feels pulled toward her family's magical past. When Aunt Lola gets very sick, Dolores discovers the jaguar warrior power inside herself and fights against bad sorcerers who are plotting to hurt them.

In East Los Angeles, Dolores Dominguez visits her Aunt Lola, who runs a store filled with medicinal herbs and mystical charms.
