Wet Saturday and August Heat

Description

Two separate tales make up tonight's show. In "Wet Saturday," someone murdered the local preacher, and it looks like just about everyone had a reason to do it! This charming British mystery will keep you guessing. In "August Heat," a scorching summer day brings eerie glimpses of what's to come, and those visions start becoming real! "Wet Saturday" aired before on "Suspense" three times: June 24, 1942, December 16, 1943, and December 19, 1947. "August Heat" was heard earlier on "Suspense" May 31, 1945, then on "The Hallmark Playhouse" September 29, 1949, and "Sleep No More" November 28, 1956.

A program of two different stories. For "Wet Saturday:" Who killed the curate? Almost everybody it seems! A delightfully British murder! For "August Heat:" A very hot day finds strange predictions of the future starting to come true!

Suspense is a radio drama series broadcast on CBS Radio from 1940 through 1962.
