The Silver Buckle

After a Cheyenne train robbery leaves Carl Davis dead over a coveted “silver” belt buckle, Brit Ponsett is stopped by brothers Kit and Lex Springer, who claim they’re tracking the killers for a $1,500 reward and ask him to guide them through treacherous Miller Pass. Brit grows wary when Kit’s fancy buckle is stained with blood and their story doesn’t add up, then overhears they’re actually the outlaws and intend to murder him once they’re clear of town. Wounded in the ensuing gunfight, Brit holds them off until a posse closes in, and Kit dies when his prized buckle catches on the saddle horn as his horse slips over a cliff.

A gunfight breaks out and Brit gets hurt, but he fights back until the law shows up to help. Kit dies when his treasured buckle gets caught on his saddle as his horse falls off a cliff.
