Description
Attorney Philip Galt, called "The Whisperer," teams up with Ellen Norris to keep Anthony Bowers safe from a whiskey gang that wants him dead. Bowers runs the Liquor Control Commission, and the criminals will stop at nothing to get rid of him. Galt and Norris face off against a professional killer, dodge machine-gun fire, and barely escape when grenades explode around them. Even after all their fighting, the criminal gang still controls the city.
As Philip Galt, attorney known as "The Whisperer," and his ally Ellen Norris try to protect Anthony Bowers, Chairman of the Liquor Control Commission, from the whiskey syndicate's threats, they learn of a hired killer and survive a machine-gun assault and a grenade attack. But the syndicate's grip on the city remains unbroken.
The Whisperer was an American old-time radio program which broadcast 13 episodes on late Sunday afternoons [5:00 p.m. Eastern] as a summer replacement from July 8 to September 30, 1951 on NBC.
