Description
A shadow falls upon a small French village after an archaeologist, his daughter, and her fiancé unearth a statue of Venus, a pagan goddess. Despite local superstitions, the couple prepares for their wedding. But when Venus stirs to life, her cold embrace seals the fate of the man who forsakes his love.
When an archaeologist and his daughter dig up an ancient statue of the goddess Venus in a French village, dark trouble begins. The daughter plans to marry her boyfriend, but the townspeople fear the pagan statue will bring bad luck. Their worries prove right when Venus comes alive and destroys the man who abandons his true love for the goddess.
