Description

Alec and Phyllis, a troubled couple in the jungle, are joined by Lt. Lawrence, who loves Phyllis. Their last night in the wilds is marked by Alec's drunkenness and the witch doctor's farewell ritual. Alec’s obsession with a cursed mask leads to his ruin and leaves Phyllis free to go with Lawrence, haunted by her husband's death.

A married couple, Alec and Phyllis, face problems while living in the jungle. Lieutenant Lawrence arrives and falls for Phyllis. On their final night in the wilderness, Alec gets drunk during the witch doctor's goodbye ceremony. Alec becomes obsessed with a cursed mask that destroys him, allowing Phyllis to leave with Lawrence, though she remains troubled by how her husband died.

The Witch's Tale is a horror-fantasy radio series which aired from May 21, 1931, to June 13, 1938, on WOR, the Mutual Radio Network, and in syndication. The program was created, written, and directed by Alonzo Deen Cole.
