The Violin

Description

A ghostly violinist haunts an old English castle, where Lord Frederick and his wife Anne live. He thinks it a trick of the wind, but she is bewitched by the music and begins to fade. He discovers the ghost is Tasso, a long-dead violinst, and the castle's curse is real. He is frozen in horror as Tasso claims Anne as his victim.

A dead violin player's spirit haunts an ancient English castle where Lord Frederick lives with his wife Anne. Frederick believes the strange sounds are just wind, but Anne falls under the spell of the ghostly music and starts to disappear. Frederick learns the ghost is Tasso, a violin player who died long ago, and the castle really is cursed. Frederick can't move as Tasso takes Anne away.

The Witch's Tale is a horror-fantasy radio series which aired from May 21, 1931, to June 13, 1938, on WOR, the Mutual Radio Network, and in syndication. The program was created, written, and directed by Alonzo Deen Cole.
