Robertshaw’s wife, Ellen, who has unusual powers of ESP, knows about their relationship and foresees trouble for her—and them. When Ellen falls to her death from an eighth story window, the police consider it a suicide, but her son, also with powers of telepathy, received a different message from his mother while she was still alive.
