The Corpse That Would Not Die
Description
CBS Radio Mystery Theater "The Corpse That Would Not Die" is a Mystery from Monday, June 7, 1976.
Therese Raquin and her lover, portrait painter Laurent Duchaine, murder Therese's husband, Camille. They do it so well that nobody suspects them, but instead of solidifying their relationship, the two are so filled with guilt that soon they hate each other. Both have recurring dreams that Camille is still alive and begin to realize that he will haunt them for years to come, as will Camille's mother, who overhears them arguing about who is more guilty. She, however, is rendered speechless by a stroke and thus cannot tell anyone what she overheard.
