Released from jail after 25 years, Harry Beggs has nothing to his name but a wife who doesn't want him back and a daughter he's never met. Thinking money would change his wife's mind, he digs up $50,000 he buried after the robbery for which he was jailed. But before he gets home, he's robbed of the money by a young woman he meets in a bar. Harry's wife finally agrees to accept him just as he is, but his shock at meeting his daughter convinces Harry that nothing can ever be the same.
