CBS Radio Mystery Theater "It Has to Be True" is a Mystery from Wednesday, December 20, 1978.

While driving to Chicago, James Correll, assistant sales manager of an electronics company, is stopped by two highway patrolmen, searched, and taken to police headquarters. There he is accused of having murdered a woman he has never even met; his clothes and gun were found in her room. He swears he's innocent, but a police psychiatrist puts together so plausible a story of Correll's "involvement" that he starts believing he did commit the crime.
