The Ghost in the Well

CBS Radio Mystery Theater "The Ghost in the Well" is a Mystery from Tuesday, March 28, 1978.

Artist Jim Taxon’s friends think he has gone mad when he tells them why he has painted the same subject several times in order to get a good likeness. His subject is Guliana Sands, who died in 1799 when she fell into a well—pushed, she tells Jim, by her betrothed Levi Weeks. She has come back, not only to be painted, but to clear herself of the sins Levi’s lawyers—Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr—claimed she was guilty of.
