Solon Aquila regrets that his unguarded glance sent talented artist Jeffrey Hall to the insane asylum, where doctors say he has withdrawn into childhood. Solon realizes that he can undo the spell if he helps Jeff live out all his childhood dreams. Not knowing that Jeff's fantasies will cast him as a scientist working on a dangerous experiment, a courageous private detective, a circus giant and a hunter on an African safari, Solon sends Jeff into a world of nightmares, not dreams.
